For Photographers

Your work was meant for walls.

The Road Museum represents live music photographers, prints their work at museum quality, and places it with collectors as certified, documented fine art. You keep shooting. The museum does everything else.

Beyond the Post

The post got its likes. Then the feed moved on.

The best photograph from a tour lives for two days on Instagram, on your page and the artist's, and then it is buried. The work is better than its shelf life. The museum exists to give it the permanence it earned: printed, framed, certified, numbered, hanging in a collector's home.

Founded by One of You

Built by a photographer.

The Road Museum was founded by a concert photographer who spent years touring the world with artists, watching the best work of the night get consumed in a scroll and never seen again. This is the business he wished existed when he was coming up: one where the photograph outlives the post, and the photographer is a partner in everything it earns from there.

A Partnership, Not a Percentage

Half of every artwork sale. Your work stays yours.

After production, the photographer and the museum split the artwork proceeds equally. Framing is the museum's own layer and never reduces your share.

Every work carries an artwork price, and your split runs on that price alone. At the four core sizes through 24 x 36, a collector may buy the print alone or framed; your payout is identical either way, because framing is the museum's layer, not yours. Oversized works and editions are issued framed only, at prices that reflect their scale and scarcity. Each carries its own declared artwork price inside the framed price, and your half runs on it the same way. Larger work, larger artwork price, larger payout. Nothing about the frame ever touches your share.

The museum carries everything else: printing, framing, certification, fulfillment, collector service, marketing, and the trade relationships that place work in homes, hotels, and offices.

You license the museum to sell prints of selected images. You keep ownership. Representation ends at your request.

The Artist Conversation

The artist is a partner too.

Every sale pays the artist 10 percent of the artwork price, off the top, on every print, forever. It is a standing royalty you can put in front of any team without apology.

Most tour work never becomes fine art because the rights conversation feels impossible. This deal is built to make that conversation short, and the museum joins it formally whenever that helps.

Editions

Editions turn photographs into collectibles.

Alongside the permanent collection, select images are issued as numbered, framed-only editions: the Collector Edition of fifty and the Artist Proof of ten, retired the day the last number is placed. Every numbered work is recorded in the museum's public provenance registry. Scarcity is declared once and honored forever.

Proof

Documented like it matters.

Every acquisition leaves the museum with a certificate of authenticity and a permanent entry in the public provenance registry. A collector, a curator, or you can verify any certificate at any time.

What the Museum Provides

Museum certification and the public provenance registry, on every work.

ii

Fulfillment and collector service handled entirely by the museum.

iii

Zero cost to the photographer.

Representation is by invitation.

The museum builds its roster deliberately, photographer by photographer. If you are reading this, someone believed your work belongs here.
